Flint Bishop expands with new Sheffield hub

Flint Bishop has opened a new state-of-the-art office in Sheffield, enhancing its regional presence and growth strategy
In a significant move following a period of exceptional national growth, Flint Bishop has established a new state-of-the-art Grade A office at 1 Holly Street in Sheffield. This new city-centre hub marks a crucial milestone in the firm’s aggressive expansion across the North of England. The opening comes on the heels of Flint Bishop's record-breaking financial performance, having surpassed £43 million in revenue for the year ending 30 April 2026, effectively doubling the firm's size within just two years. This upward momentum has continued into the new financial year, with the firm reporting a remarkable first-quarter growth of 31% compared to the previous year.
Officially opened on 10 August 2026, the Sheffield office is a part of a broader strategic investment programme focusing on enhancing personnel support, workspace quality, and technology to fuel and sustain the firm’s rapid growth. Strategically located overlooking Barker's Pool and adjacent to City Hall, the new workspace features over 70 workstations, high-tech meeting facilities, contemporary collaboration and breakout areas, as well as modern amenities that advocate for flexible working, innovation, and employee wellbeing.
Chief Executive Qamer Ghafoor has led significant investments in technology and IT systems, ensuring that the Sheffield workforce remains integrated within the firm’s national network. Ghafoor commented: “Establishing our permanent city-centre home at 1 Holly Street is a significant milestone development for Flint Bishop. Following our record financial performance, this office provides the high-specification infrastructure required to meet surging client demand across Yorkshire.” He further noted: "Sheffield is a strategically important market for us and these outstanding new premises provide the capacity, flexibility and facilities required to support our strategic plans."
The acquisition of Lupton Fawcett and the strategic hiring of key personnel have dovetailed with infrastructural upgrades and the new office's launch. Ghafoor highlighted that: "By positioning a highly capitalised, tech-forward firm right in the heart of Sheffield, Flint Bishop is offering local corporations and private individuals a compelling alternative: elite-tier national capability delivered by lawyers who live and work right in the city centre.”
The opening of the Sheffield office is part of Flint Bishop’s nationwide investment programme, with planned enhancements for Birmingham, Leeds and York locations. With over 460 employees across the UK, Flint Bishop continues to bolster its reputation as one of the fastest-growing law firms in the country through sustained investment in its people, workspaces, technology, and client services, ultimately aiming to deliver exceptional outcomes for its clients.
