FEAR OF LUDITES

A survey by the International Association of Young Lawyers has found that young lawyers still regard firms' resistance to innovation as the biggest threat to the industry. The rise of alternative business structures was also cited as a worry and nine out of 10 respondents predicting a likely increase in the employment of non-lawyers to provide client services.
