DWF retains key role with Homes England

DWF has been reappointed to Homes England's Legal Services Framework, expanding its role significantly over four years
DWF, the global provider of integrated legal and business services, has announced its reappointment to Homes England's Legal Services Framework. This includes retaining its position on Lot 1, which focuses on Real Estate & Investment, and securing a new appointment to Lot 2, which pertains to Corporate Legal Services. DWF stands out as one of the few firms holding appointments in both categories, underscoring its reputation as a trusted legal adviser to Homes England and the broader public sector.
DWF’s longstanding relationship with Homes England will enable it to continue providing support for complex real estate and investment matters. Moreover, the firm will expand its services to cover corporate and banking legal needs, as well as assistance with strategic transactions and joint ventures. Homes England operates as the Government's housing and regeneration agency and is a non-departmental public body sponsored by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government. The agency plays a critical role in accelerating housebuilding, unlocking regeneration opportunities, and delivering affordable, high-quality homes within thriving communities.
Lee Pickett, Partner and Head of Regeneration, Development, Planning and Infrastructure at DWF, expressed enthusiasm about the reappointment, noting that “We are delighted to have been reappointed to Homes England's Legal Services Framework and particularly pleased to have expanded our appointment to include Corporate Legal Services.” He further remarked that “Retaining our position on the Real Estate & Investment lot reflects the strength of our longstanding relationship and the quality of support our teams have consistently delivered.”
Jonathan Branton, Head of Government & Public Sector at DWF, also highlighted the significance of this appointment by stating, “This appointment is a fantastic endorsement of DWF's trusted relationship with Homes England and our wider commitment to supporting the public sector.” He added that “Being appointed to both lots strengthens the breadth of support we can provide, bringing together deep sector insight with specialist expertise from across our business.”
The new Legal Services Framework is set to commence in November 2026, with a duration of four years. DWF’s expanded role coincides with Homes England's ambitious plans for housing and regeneration, as the agency's 2025–2030 Strategic Plan aims to support the delivery of approximately 280,000 new homes and unlock land capable of supporting nearly 400,000 homes throughout the UK.
