DWF in talks over private equity buy-out

By Law News
The Manchester-headquartered law firm has confirmed that it is in discussions with Inflexion Private Equity Partners
In response to a Bloomberg article on 10 July revealing the possible takeover, the firm has confirmed that while nothing has yet been agreed, if Inflexion was to make an offer, it would be "minded to unanimously recommend" the deal to shareholders.
The firm has offices across the UK, and in 15 jurisdictions across Asia, Europe, the Middle East and North America. DWF says it employs more than 4,000 people globally.
In 2019, the firm listed on the London Stock Exchange and says it continues to be the UK's largest listed law firm.
