Collyer Bristow appoints Alex Vakil as head

Collyer Bristow has enhanced its leadership in commercial disputes by appointing Alex Vakil as Partner and Head of Commercial Disputes effective from 1 September

He will take over from Robin Henry, who is set to retire after a twelve-year tenure at the firm. Previously, Vakil co-headed the Commercial Litigation department at Joelson and has a notable background as a partner at RPC. His extensive experience encompasses advising a diverse clientele, including businesses and executives, on various intricate disputes such as breach of contract, professional negligence, and misuse of private information. His standing in the field is highlighted by rankings in both Chambers and The Legal 500 for his expertise and client service in commercial litigation.

Senior Partner at Collyer Bristow, Daniel Simon, expressed his enthusiasm about the new appointment, stating "We are delighted to welcome Alex to Collyer Bristow.
