Clough & Willis strengthens team with Adele

Bury and Bolton law firm Clough & Willis has announced the recent appointment of Adele Tatters, an experienced senior conveyancer, to its Residential Property team. With over 25 years of specialist experience, Adele brings a wealth of knowledge across various aspects of residential property work, including sales, purchases, transfers of equity, and remortgages. Her expertise particularly shines in complex matters such as new builds, new leases, and shared ownership.

Adele joins Clough & Willis after a successful 13-year career in corporate organisations, most notably as a title lawyer at Simplify Group for a decade. During her tenure there, she led the Manchester team for two years and contributed to the Learning & Development department for three years, creating senior-level training modules and developing content for Qualifications Scotland relevant to the Licensed Conveyancer qualification.

In addition to her corporate background, Adele has led both the Technical Specialist Team and the New Build Title Team at MyHomeMove’s Manchester branch, maintaining key relationships with major housebuilders, such as Taylor Wimpey and BDW Group. In parallel with her practical work, Adele has also taught the Council for Licensed Conveyancers Qualification at Levels 4 and 6, playing a vital role in nurturing the next generation of conveyancing professionals.

Reflecting on her new role, Adele expressed her motivation by stating “After 13 years working mainly remotely for a large corporate organisation, I wanted to join an established local firm with an excellent reputation for delivering genuine personal service.
