CILEX CPQ: applications open and scholarships available

CILEX hopes the scholarships will 'make the UK legal sector... more representative and better serve society'

Applications for the CILEX Professional Qualification (CPQ) are open following regulatory approval. CILEX has committed £275,000 to fund up to 22 scholarships annually through the CILEX Foundation. Scholarships will cover training costs to become a CILEX Lawyer. Eligible applicants must demonstrate their finances and particular circumstances make it challenging to access a legal education. Support targets those under-represented in the profession and/or from a disadvantaged background, such as young carers, those with an Equality Act 2010 protected characteristic, who have received free school meals or who have been in care.
