Call for evidence launched on the Victims and Prisoners Bill

The House of Commons Public Bill Committee launched a call for evidence on the Victims and Prisoners Bill currently passing through Parliament on 16 May, which will inform the Committee’s upcoming scrutiny of the bill. The first sitting of the Public Bill Committee is scheduled to be held on 20 June and the Committee is due to submit its report on the bill by 13 July, which may mean that the call for evidence closes earlier than the expected deadline of 13 July. As such, stakeholders and interested parties are encouraged to submit their comments to the call for evidence as soon as possible.
