The Bar Standards Board has published its annual report on money laundering and terrorist financing. The report describes the work the BSB is doing to prevent money laundering and provides details of action being taken in response to breaches. The BSB director general, Mark Neale, said: “Illicit finance poses a major threat to society and to the reputation of the UK as a place to do business. Barristers must also comply with economic sanctions, particularly following the Russian invasion of Ukraine”.
