Browne Jacobson appoints Kevin Moore as partner

Browne Jacobson has announced the appointment of Kevin Moore as Commercial Partner, a significant development in their ambition to create a comprehensive legal framework for life sciences across the island of Ireland. Kevin brings over 15 years of experience in advising businesses at every stage of the life sciences lifecycle, from initial innovation and investment through to commercialisation, market entry, and strategic exits. He has a strong background in manufacturing and supply arrangements that support life science products in the market.

Most recently, Moore founded DeNovo Legal, a specialist firm that has served as a trusted advisor to burgeoning and scaling companies in Galway and the broader Irish life sciences cluster. An alumnus of the University of Galway BioInnovate Fellowship Programme, Moore has developed strong connections within the health technology innovation landscape, comparable to prestigious programmes like Stanford Biodesign.

At Browne Jacobson, Kevin will collaborate with Dublin-based Corporate Partners Will Darmody and Gavin Bluett, alongside Chiara Quondamatteo, a Corporate Associate focused on life sciences. This integrated team will be equipped to provide comprehensive legal advice covering everything from foundational commercial contracts to significant cross-border transactions and regulatory issues.

The timing of Moore's appointment aligns with Browne Jacobson’s ongoing expansion into Belfast, following its partnership with Davidson McDonnell. This strategic move allows the firm to establish a presence that encompasses Galway, Dublin, and Belfast, thus creating a robust legal platform across the entire island of Ireland.
