Blacks Solicitors has elevated Rebecca Holden to Head of Corporate as part of its growth strategy
Blacks Solicitors has announced the promotion of Rebecca Holden to Head of Corporate, a pivotal move in the firm’s ongoing push into more sophisticated and higher-value transactions. As of 1 April, Rebecca has also joined the equity partnership of the firm, highlighting her integral role in shaping the corporate practice.
With over 15 years of experience, Rebecca has gained significant expertise in corporate law, advising on a range of matters across both UK and international markets. Her background includes training at prestigious global law firms, where she honed her skills in areas such as M&A, Private Equity, Venture Capital, and solvent restructurings.
Recognised for her proficiency in managing strategic multi-stakeholder deals alongside complex cross-border transactions, Rebecca has directed large-scale reorganisations that span various sectors, including financial services, technology, healthcare, and manufacturing. She has worked with distinguished clients, including major brands and international organisations, on corporate dealings worth millions, and in some instances, billions of pounds.
Reflecting on her new role, Rebecca Holden, Partner and Head of Corporate at Blacks Solicitors, said “Blacks offer the opportunity to work on high-quality, complex matters within an environment that combines autonomy with a strong level of support from a highly capable team. The team has seen sustained growth and continues to build its profile in terms of expertise and client service, with clear ambitions for future growth. The opportunity to develop a boutique Corporate practice, focused on high standards of client service alongside a proportionate approach to costs, was a key factor in my decision to join the firm. It is an important and exciting period for the team as it continues to strengthen its position in the mid-market. Blacks is increasingly seeing traction with deals that it may not have previously been considered for, reflecting growing market recognition. Over the next twelve months, we hope to double the size of the team through both organic growth and lateral hires, building on the progress achieved to date and to satisfy ongoing demand.”
Chris Allen, Managing Partner at Blacks Solicitors, expressed his enthusiasm for Rebecca’s promotion, stating “Rebecca’s promotion marks an important step in the continued growth of our Corporate team. Nigel Hoyle, who has played a pivotal role in developing the team, will remain actively involved in the business, ensuring continuity as Rebecca takes on this leadership role. We are excited about the future as we are expanding into two floors at 29 King Street and are looking forward to continuing to deliver an exceptional client experience.”
As Blacks Solicitors advances into a new chapter under Rebecca's leadership, the firm is poised for significant growth and development in the corporate legal sector.
