Birketts advises on Clinical Pharmacist Solutions sale
Birketts has successfully assisted shareholders with the sale of Clinical Pharmacist Solutions, marking a significant milestone
Birketts played a pivotal role in advising the shareholders during the sale of Clinical Pharmacist Solutions (CPS), a prominent provider of clinical pharmacy services known for enhancing healthcare organisations with specialist pharmacy expertise and medicines optimisation services. The sale of the entire issued share capital signifies a crucial step in CPS's ongoing growth and development within the healthcare sector.
Throughout the transaction, Birketts offered specialised support across various workstreams, including corporate, employment, employee incentives, and tax. Leading the independent healthcare team at Birketts were Partner and Head of Independent Healthcare Greg Allan, alongside Solicitor William Hagerty. They received invaluable assistance from colleagues Catherine Helpworth and Georgia Hunt on employment matters, Anthony Metcalfe-Gibson and Kirsty Scripps on employee incentives, and Lydia Hutchinson, Robbie Watson, and Ryan Smith regarding tax-related issues.
Reflecting on the complexity of the deal, a spokesperson for the shareholders noted, “It was a complex deal with many moving parts. William kept everything in one place and on track, and Greg's expertise showed at the negotiating table: calm in the storm, clear in his points, and always a step ahead of the other side. He understood exactly what we wanted. We would recommend Greg and his team without hesitation, and Birketts should be proud to have him. Greg, William and the wider Birketts team provided exceptional support throughout the transaction. Their commercial insight, responsiveness and commitment to achieving the best outcome ensured the process ran smoothly from start to finish. We greatly valued their advice and expertise and would not hesitate to recommend them.”
In response to the successful transaction, Greg Allan expressed, “We are delighted to have supported the shareholders on this successful transaction. The sale represents an important milestone for the business and is testament to the strength of the company that the shareholders have built. It was a pleasure working with the management team and fellow advisers to achieve a smooth completion, and we wish the business every success as it embarks on its next chapter.” The sale marks a promising future for CPS as it continues to focus on delivering high-quality pharmacy services.
