Birketts advises Aspect Group Holdings shareholders

Birketts has advised shareholders of Aspect Group on the sale of their services to Cardo Group
Birketts has successfully provided legal counsel to the shareholders of Aspect Group Holdings Limited regarding their recent sale of Aspect Group Services, a Norfolk-based company that specialises in roofing, renewables, and building maintenance. Cardo Group, a prominent organisation within the building maintenance sector catering to social housing providers and public entities across the UK and Ireland, will now integrate Aspect Group Services into its operations.
Founded in 1972, Aspect Group Services evolved from its beginnings as a roofing contractor to become a renowned provider offering roofing, scaffolding, property maintenance, and renewable energy services. This evolution has enabled the company to undertake a variety of projects, ranging from emergency repairs to expansive improvement programmes, across both the private and public sectors.
The sale of Aspect Group Services marks a pivotal moment in the company’s evolution as it joins the ranks of Cardo Group, which is well-regarded for its maintenance and improvement services. A spokesperson for Aspect Group Holdings Limited's shareholders expressed their excitement about the transaction, revealing that “this deal represents an important milestone for the shareholders and for the future of Aspect Group Services. We are incredibly proud of the business that has been built over many years and of the team that has contributed to its success.”
Birketts facilitated the negotiation process, with Partner Ed Savory leading a skilled corporate team. Throughout the transaction, the firm’s experts provided critical support in areas such as corporate tax, commercial real estate, employee incentives, and employment law. Ed Savory commented on the successful culmination of the deal, stating “we were delighted to support the shareholders of Aspect Group Holdings Limited on this significant transaction. Aspect Group Services has built an impressive reputation over more than five decades, underpinned by the quality of its people, specialist expertise and long-standing client relationships.”
He further elaborated on the acquisition’s potential benefits, asserting that “this acquisition represents an exciting opportunity for the business to continue its growth as part of a larger group with a strong track record in the sector. We wish the shareholders, management team and Cardo Group every success in the future.” This deal is seen as a promising new chapter for Aspect Group Services, solidifying its foundations for future expansion while remaining dedicated to quality service delivery.
