Bar Standards Board publishes reports on the impact of training reforms

The Bar Standards Board (BSB) published three new reports on 8 March, which assess the impact of the BSB’s Bar training reforms. The reforms were aimed at making Bar training more flexible and accessible, whilst maintaining the BSB’s high standards. The three reports are: an interim report from AlphaPlus evaluating the BSB’s Future Bar Training reforms; the BSB’s 2023 Bar Training Report, covering the period from 2011/12 to 2022/23; and the Central Examinations Board Chair’s Report, which presents results for the candidates sitting the centralised assessments in civil and criminal litigation in December 2022.
