Axiology enhances team with new CLO

Axiology has appointed as Chief Legal Officer to strengthen its legal team and ambitions
Axiology, a leading capital markets infrastructure provider, has appointed Aurimas Galdikas as its Chief Legal Officer. Galdikas’s appointment is seen as a crucial step in strengthening Axiology’s legal function as the company accelerates its transformation in tokenised asset management and trading across Europe. With over 15 years of experience in the international financial markets, Galdikas’s background spans various sectors including investment management, banking, and financial regulation.
Galdikas began his career working in financial market supervision before taking on a significant role at the Bank of Lithuania, where he led the legal function for market operations for 11 years. Under his guidance, the Bank of Lithuania became the first European central bank to invest directly in China’s interbank bond market. Subsequently, he joined ILTE, Lithuania's national development bank, where he focused on financial market development and played a key role in designing the bank’s regulatory framework.
In his new role at Axiology, Galdikas will oversee all legal, regulatory, structuring, and governance operations. He aims to ensure compliance with financial services laws and regulations while managing legal risks, regulatory reporting, and strategic initiatives. Aurimas Galdikas expressed his enthusiasm about the role, stating, “I am pleased to have joined Axiology at such a pivotal moment in its journey to transform how tokenised assets are managed and traded in Europe. I look forward to applying my international financial market experience to ensure that we adhere to the highest standards of legal and regulatory compliance. I aim to strengthen Axiology's legal framework by working closely with colleagues, partners and regulators to help establish a trusted, transparent, and resilient ecosystem for tokenised securities.”
Axiology’s CEO, Marius Jurgilas, welcomed Galdikas to the team as well, commenting, "I am pleased to welcome Aurimas at an important stage in Axiology's development. With deep expertise in financial regulation and legal strategy, Aurimas will make a fantastic addition to our leadership team as we continue to grow our platform amid the ever-evolving regulatory landscape. We are committed to building a secure, compliant, and innovative digital capital markets infrastructure and with Aurimas's oversight, we will make this a reality.”
Through this appointment, Axiology aims to solidify its commitment to innovation in the regulated arena of digital assets and ensure its legal and regulatory frameworks are robust enough to navigate the complexities of the evolving landscape.
