Anthony Collins has welcomed Laura Moss, a legal director with extensive experience, to enhance its social business offerings

Laura will play a pivotal role in supporting the firm’s diverse client base of social businesses and charities, particularly in areas relating to governance. Talented in advising mutuals, co-operatives, and community benefit societies, Laura possesses significant expertise in assisting community-led housing groups, thereby broadening Anthony Collins’ services to social enterprises.

Her arrival follows the promotion of Edwina Turner, a specialist in the charities sector, to partner earlier this year, reflecting the firm's continuous effort to invest in this vital area. Beyond her professional commitments, Laura is actively involved with the Francis Scott Trust, a significant grant-making charity that supports youth in Cumbria and Lancaster. She is a founder-director of the Kendal Parent Network and resides in an eco-cohousing community, highlighting her dedication to social principles. Notably, she is also the founder of the Cycle Touring Festival, initiated in 2015 after her global cycling adventure.
