Co-operative Legal Services (CLS) has posted a 29% increase in turnover in its latest financial year. In the year to 5 January 2019, turnover rose from £22m to £28.3m, with profits up 54% to £2m. Most of the revenue growth came from CLS's probate practice, which was up 40% to £18.8m. CLS is now the largest probate provider in the country, having acquired the second largest, Simplify Probate, from QualitySolicitors in March 2018. While personal injury is also a major part of CLS's business, revenue in this practice area grew marginally, just past the £5m mark. 15 November 2019
