In November 2021, a survey of expert witnesses’ experiences during the pandemic was conducted by The Times newspaper and Bond Solon, a leading training organisation for expert witnesses in the UK.

The specialities of the experts interviewed encompassed many leading practice areas, with some leading examples being clinical psychology, neuropsychology, accountancy, social work, marine engineering, employment, pensions and personal injury. The survey results follow persistent debates over the effectiveness and abilities of expert witnesses during the pandemic.
