Becoming an ABS with CILEx Regulation will expand the scope of the company's work

CILEx Regulation has licensed its first alternative business structure (ABS). TI Law Ltd was licensed by CILEx Regulation in September. The firm will offer a full range of probate services to clients to complement its existing wills and bereavement activities within its wider group. The group is an employee-owned trust, and is therefore unable to apply for authorisation as a conventional law firm. Becoming an ABS with CILEx Regulation means previously outsourced probate work can now be completed in-house, expanding its reach.
