Vincents solicitors expands: a move to new Chorley office at Ackhurst Business Park

By

Vincents Solicitors, a prominent Lancashire law firm, has relocated its Chorley team to a new office at Ackhurst Business Park, marking a significant milestone in its journey of growth

The move from St Thomas’s Road in the town centre to the spacious premises at Ackhurst Business Park reflects the firm’s expansion and commitment to better serving its clients.

Led by June Caunce, head of the conveyancing department, Vincents' Chorley office serves as a pivotal hub for its rapidly expanding residential property team. Over the past three years, this team has experienced remarkable growth, tripling in size to meet the increasing demands of homebuyers and investors in central Lancashire and beyond.

Establishing its presence in Chorley in September 2016 through a merger with local firm Yates Barnes, Vincents initially operated from the St Thomas’ Road building. However, the need for larger premises became apparent as the firm's conveyancing department expanded across different service areas of the business.

Phillip Gilmore, Managing Director of Vincents Solicitors, emphasised the necessity of the move due to the burgeoning demands of the conveyancing department and the firm's overall growth trajectory. Despite offering hybrid and flexible working options, the firm recognises the importance of providing a collaborative workspace for its staff, thereby necessitating larger premises.

The new office at Balmoral House in Ackhurst Business Park offers enhanced accessibility for both staff and clients, with ample parking facilities available. Positioned just off the A581, the location provides convenient access for all parties involved.

Acknowledging Vincents Solicitors' move, Nick Hemmings, Regional Property Manager at Northern Trust, expressed enthusiasm for their decision to join Ackhurst Business Park. He emphasised the alignment of Vincents' forward-thinking approach with the park's vision of fostering a dynamic and collaborative business environment.

In addition to serving as the central base for Vincents' Chorley team, the new office also manages all post-completion activity for conveyancing clients across the firm's seven offices. With a growing team of specialists spanning various locations, Vincents Solicitors is poised to continue its expansion and consolidate its position as a leading legal firm in Lancashire's conveyancing market.
