A legal task force has been formed to advise on Accountability for Crimes Committed in Ukraine. All members will provide pro bono legal advice. Law firms Withers, Covington & Burling and Sygna Partners, human rights lawyers Amal Clooney, Richard Hermer QC, Tim Otty QC and Philippa Webb, head of the International Bar Association’s Human Rights Institute, Baroness Helena Kennedy, and former president of the UK Supreme Court, Lord Neuberger, are all members. Emma Lindsay, international arbitration partner at Withers, said the firm was “honoured to assist Ukraine”.
