Senior circuit judge, and a former president of Personal Injury Lawyers, Allan Gore has been criticised during an appeal over his handling of a case involving a death on a farm in 2014. The High Court ordered a recusal of Gore from the case, with Justic Pushpinder Saini contending that Gore had used “intemperate language” and made comments, which appeared to amount to “threats about his approach to future costs and case management, thereby giving rise to the appearance of bias.” Gore had accused the defendant of “bimbling about” and, referring to the defendant’s lawyer, suggested the “organ grinder” next time
