Legal industry has 'motored ahead'

UK legal industry turnover for September was £3.42bn – up 17 per cent on August’s figures, following the traditional summer lull – according to recent Office of National Statistics data. Turnover was up 12.3 per cent compared to September 2020. Julie Norris, regulatory partner, legal services, at Kingsley Napley LLP said: “The UK’s legal industry has motored ahead in September. These strong results will reassure firm leaders about current macro conditions but there remain many challenges on the horizon, whether covid, Brexit, or various regulatory pressures”.
