Probate researchers have come under fire for making unsolicited visits to elderly people's houses during lockdown. The Association of Probate Researchers chairman Neil Fraser said he was 'profoundly shocked' by the practice, which he deemed unnecessary 'when phone and mail provide perfectly adequate methods of getting in touch.' Law firms have been striving to continue to provide probate work to their clients despite social distancing measures.
