The UK and Ireland law firm, announces the appointment of Nick MacKenzie as the new head of its education team, succeeding Mark Blois

Mark, a highly esteemed figure in the sector, will continue his client work at the firm.

Mark's leadership over the past two decades has propelled the education team to significant growth, earning Browne Jacobson recognition as a market leader and recipient of numerous sector awards. The firm's support extends to over half of multi-academy trusts nationally and a third of all maintained sector schools in England, along with an increasing number of further and higher education institutions.

Under Mark's guidance, the education team has pioneered thought leadership initiatives like EdCon, the School Leaders Survey, and the #EdInfluence podcast, fostering dialogue and innovation within the sector.

Nick MacKenzie, an accomplished lawyer and executive coach, assumes the role of Head of Education from 1 May. Nick aims to consolidate Browne Jacobson's position as a market leader across the education sector by delivering key insights and innovation to clients.
