UK Legal industry turnover was £4.05bn in March, an increase of 19 per cent from February, according to Office of National Statistics data. Julie Norris, regulatory partner at Kingsley Napley, said the industry had demonstrated “strength and resilience” but that March turnover appeared to have been affected by sanctions related measures for some. She said this may continue to have an impact, along with “macro-economic pressures such as inflation and the cost-of-living crisis”. Norris encouraged firms to “continue to focus on staff well-being to attract and retain the best people in a highly competitive market.”
