ABS Legal Services Lincolnshire (LSL), which provides legal services to seven councils in the East Midlands, is seeking to become the latest local authority ABS. Overseen by Lincolnshire County Council, it works with Boston Borough Council, East Lindsey District Council, North Kesteven District Council, South Holland District Council and West Lindsey District Council. LSL works almost entirely for councils, while generating around £150,000 in fees from other public bodies. The ABS licence would enable LSL to broaden its client base and increase income. 25 April 2019
