Office of National Statistics data has revealed legal industry turnover was £3.8bn in November, a decrease of seven per cent from October 2022. Kingsley Napley regulatory partner, Julie Norris, said the industry “remains strong”. “November's revenue dip follows all time high revenues in October and is still up year on year. Nevertheless, firm leaders should continue to review how the current economic climate will impact the landscape for their clients and their people, with a particular eye on keeping expenses under tight control when costs across the piece are soaring."
