Turnover has risen month on month

Office of National Statistics data has revealed turnover for the UK legal sector in July 2022 was £3.7bn – a rise of 2.2 per cent from June. To put these figures into context, the UK services sector (including legal) had a turnover of £227bn, a 6 per cent decrease from June. Julie Norris, regulatory partner at Kingsley Napley LLP said the industry remained “robust” despite the “tumult” of recent months. “Firm leaders should as always review how various macro factors will change the landscape for their clients, their people, and their communities”.
