Millions of workers in the UK are missing out on basic legal entitlements to a payslip, holiday entitlement and the minimum wage, according to Resolution Foundation research. The analysis found that one in 20 workers do not receive any paid holiday entitlement, while around one in ten do not receive a payslip. Meanwhile, the research said, HMRC identified 200,000 cases of workers not receiving the minimum wage last year. Hotels and restaurants workers are the most likely to miss out on minimum legal workplace entitlements, the analysis found. 16 September 2019
