One of the biggest immigration Žrms in Scotland has suspended three interpreters while police investigate fraud claims relating to the asylum system in Glasgow. The BBC reported, that Latta & Co had suspended the freelance interpreters, who had been working on Kurdish asylum seeker claims. While there is no suggestion of wrongdoing on the part of the Žrm, it is claimed that one of its interpreters, Hazhar Jabbary, had been promising asylum seekers he could assure the success of their claim in return for payment. A spokesperson for Latta & Co told the BBC they 'never work for the Žrm again'. 19 November 2019
