Bott & Co has teamed up with the University of Manchester to develop artificial intelligence project using predictive modeling to improve process within its flight delay business. The knowledge transfer partnership (KTP) agreement, funded through government-backed scheme Innovate UK, will help develop machine-learning workflows that could, in due course, be extended to other areas of the firm's consumer claims practice. As part of the KTP scheme, Bott & Co '“which has won two Supreme Court flight-delay cases '“ will employ a fulltime post-graduate who will be embedded into the firm's technology team.
