FIRMER ACTION
By Nicola Laver
The Legal Services Consumer panel has called on the Legal Services Board to take firmer action to ensure a more consistent approach in relation to the publication of lawyers' regulatory and complaints records. The move, in a blog by panel chair Sarah Chambers, comes in the wake of the LSB's first report on the performance of frontline regulators (see below). While Chambers mostly welcomed the report's findings, she said now was the time for the super-regulator to review the way in which the SRA and other regulators make their enforcement data available to consumers. 23 January 2019
