Coventry University Streetlaw

The inspiring project is benefiting students and the community alike

Coventry University law students have joined forces with a community charity to raise awareness of the laws around knife crime and other subjects. Students have the opportunity to research and present on a legal topic, while community groups gain a better understanding of the topic. Leading ’Streetlaw’, Coventry Law School’s associate head Rebecca Gladwin-Geoghegan said the project broadened students’ legal knowledge and inspired young people “to take a greater interest in the law and potentially to consider a career in law” making the law “more accessible to everyone.”
