The local authority hopes to be able to tender using the 'light touch regime'

Bedford Borough Council has issued a prior information notice stating it intends to publish a tender for a barristers’ framework contract worth up to £3m within the third quarter of 2021. The value of the 4-year contract “will be above the Find a Tender Service threshold,” said the local authority. The following lots will be available for bid: (i) adults, children and education services; (ii) governance, planning, property and litigation, “covering all other areas of the council’s business”.
