CDR Brew Restrictive covenants – restraint of trade or legitimate business protection?

We're delighted to announce the details of our next CDR #Brew which will take place at midday on Thursday, 31 March 2022.

Phillip Patterson and Rajiv Bhatt will be discussing the litigation of disputes relating to restrictive covenants in employment contracts and shareholder agreements. What challenges are faced and how can they be resolved? The Brew will look at the recent decision in Law By Design Ltd v Ali and will cover:

1. Their use in employment contracts and shareholder agreements.
2. How long it is appropriate to impose restrictions.
3. How to deal with ambiguity in the drafting of restrictive covenants.
4. What steps can and should be taken to enforce restrictive covenants.

Please register your interest using the buttons below. We will circulate the joining instructions in due course.

If you have any questions, please email events@gatehouselaw.co.uk.
