With the advent of a post-covid world and an ostensible return to ‘normal,’ British holidaymakers have rushed to take international breaks – which has signalled an end to the English staycations of 2021 and offered a lifeline to airline companies.

Yet there has been much strain and chaos within the travel sector. Aspiring travellers have had to endure long waits for passports of up to 10 weeks, which has led to some people missing their holidays.
