Family Bhive launches new social media site for HNW market

Private client industry networking forum Family Bhive has launched a new social media website today (6 November 2012) as it seeks to boost the service it provides to high net-worth individuals in connecting them with their advisers and favourite brands.

The new site,, allows users to share and follow HNW lifestyle and private wealth intelligence based on personal preferences. These include private banking, investment management, luxury goods, philanthropy, property, arts and culture, family, and fiduciary issues.

“We have created a platform which brings together HNW clients, their advisers and the brands they love,” said Caroline Garnham, former private client lawyer and CEO of Family Bhive.

“This social media platform helps HNW families and their family offices get the most from their advisers. It will help wealth advisers reach new HNW clients by showcasing their talents, and it’s a more controlled environment than conventional social media where we can measure the effectiveness of campaigns and demonstrate return on investment.”

Corporate partners share their expertise through articles, blogs and events directly onto the site, the effectiveness of which can be monitored. The social media functionality enables users to ‘follow’ those corporate partners of most interest to them, so that partners develop a network which is interested in their services.

Corporate partners can also follow other B2B companies in the wealth sector, and other departments within their own business, to keep abreast of the latest developments and to facilitate business referrals.
