Top-100 UK law firm Winckworth Sherwood has elected John Rees as senior partner and Richard Tinham as finance partner.

They replace Keith Jenkins, who had been senior partner since 2010, and Andrew Murray, who had been finance partner since 1996.

The firm says housing specialists Jenkins and Murray have stepped down to focus on client-facing work. Both partners had maintained fee-earning roles while in the senior positions.

Roger Fitton has also been re-elected for a fourth three-year term as managing partner.

Said Fitton: “I am delighted to have been re-elected as the firm’s managing partner and I look forward to working closely with John and Richard.”

The new appointments became effective on 1 April 2013.
