International law firm White & Case has formed an association with newly-established Indonesian law firm MD & Partners.

MD & Partners will work exclusively with White & Case, according to the international firm. White & Case has also noted that it has “strong connections with a number of leading local firms”.

MD & Partners was founded by M&A lawyer Mita Djajadiredja, who was formerly a partner at Baker & McKenzie network firm Hadiputranto Hadinoto & Partners. She is joined by finance and corporate lawyer Nadia Soraya, who was previously a partner at Makarim & Taira S in Jakarta.

Over the past 35 years, White & Case has represented a range of Indonesian clients, primarily through its Singapore office.

“Our association with MD & Partners supports our firm’s long history with Indonesia and meets the increasing demands of our clients,” said Hugh Verrier, chair of White & Case.
