Support was provided by associates Nadine Cannon and Chiara Quandamatteo, enhancing the breadth of expertise available for the deal. Gareth Davies, the Head of Private Equity for UK&I remarked that "This was a genuinely international transaction, and we were well-placed to bring together our UK and Dublin-based teams to support Apiary Capital from start to finish. The deal reflects the strength of our cross-border private equity practice and our ability to advise private equity sponsors on complex, multi-jurisdictional investments."
William Darmody, the Head of Corporate Ireland, added "Having our Dublin team at the heart of this deal was a real advantage given Spanish Point's Irish headquarters and its international ambitions. We were pleased to provide seamless, integrated advice alongside our UK colleagues, and we look forward to seeing the business continue to grow." This collaboration underscores the strengths of a unified legal team in navigating the intricacies of international investment transactions.
