Ukrainian law firm Sayenko Kharenko has announced the opening of a new London representative office and government relations practice.

Andy Hunder, director of the Ukrainian Institute in London, has been recruited by the Kiev-based law firm to head its government relations practice. The public affairs specialist will be joined by capital markets lawyer Iryna Nagayets.

Commenting on the London office opening, the firm’s managing partner, Vladimir Sayenko, said: "Sayenko Kharenko's presence in London brings us closer to our client’s decision-making centre. The new GR practice will assist clients treading the challenging terrain of government relations in Ukraine."

The government relations practice intends to provide clients with policy guidance, legislative advocacy and access to regulatory agencies and policymakers in Ukraine.
