Amanda Chapman (nee Nelson), a former partner at Taylor Wessing, has joined Cripps Harries Hall as a partner in the private client team.

Chapman brings experience in international tax and succession planning for non-UK domiciled individuals coming from jurisdictions such as the US, the CIS, the Middle East, Asia and Europe, with a particular emphasis on inheritance and capital gains tax, and remittance planning.

She will be building the firm's international tax planning side, working closely with the Cripps International Corporate Group led by Olivier Morel.

Myles McIntosh, head of private client at Cripps, said: "With the increase in our international client base, having someone with Amanda's tax planning experience on board will help to further strengthen our expertise in this area."

Cripps has now completed its merger with Vertex Law, as announced earlier in the summer, creating a 46-partner-strong firm operating from offices in Tunbridge Wells and Kings Hill in Kent, as well as in London.

Its combined turnover is over £22.7m.
