Firm wants to strengthen corporate and private client relationship

Rosalyn Breedy, founding partner of niche private wealth practice Breedy Henderson, is joining Forsters to add a financial services capability and reinforce the firm's link between its corporate and private client practices.

Breedy, who worked with Forsters for many years, has been appointed as partner. She will team up with the firm's offshore specialists, playing a key role in drawing together its existing international client base and growth strategy.

"Rosalyn's appointment marks a significant moment for the firm as we align our corporate and private client teams," said managing partner Paul Roberts.

"Her reputation for dealing with complex issues, acting for international clients, and expertise in transactions and wealth management will strengthen our existing offer and propel Forsters' domestic and international growth strategy forward."

Breedy said her initial focus will be developing Forsters' private funds client base and offshore work.

Before founding her firm, she worked for Withers, and Slaughter and May.

Forsters' head of private client, Fiona Smith, discussed the importance of offshore in an interview with Private Client Adviser.
