Devereux Chambers’ CEO, Beverly Landais, will be leaving the London barristers set to join Saunderson House.

Landais, who is credited with restructuring, rebranding and repositioning the set to “run along modern business lines”, will join the financial services firm on 2 December as director of marketing and business development.

No successor CEO has been announced at Devereux, which is currently assessing its management strategy.

“Beverly has made a significant impact since joining Devereux in 2009. She has modernised the management and raised the profile of chambers,” said Ingrid Simler QC, head of Devereux.

“I have achieved all that I set out to do,” said Beverly Landais, after four years with the set.

Landais was previously director of marketing and BD at Baker & McKenzie, head of brand and communications at Lombard North Central, head of global marketing at Lloyd’s of London, marketing and training manager at London Clearing House (now LCH.Clearnet), and PR and marketing manager at London Commodities Exchange (now part of LIFFE).

She is a fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
