Vancouver law firm Alexander Holburn Beaudin + Lang has re-appointed Bruno De Vita as managing partner ten years after he stepped down as MP.

He replaces David Garner, who led the firm for six and a half years and will remain at Alexander Holburn as a senior partner.

De Vita previously served as the firm’s managing partner from 1998 to 2002.

He plans to continue with his civil litigation practice while serving as managing partner.

De Vita joined the full-service firm in 1985, becoming partner in 1991.

Commenting on his appointment, De Vita said: “I am honoured to have been elected by my colleagues to lead the firm as managing partner. During David’s tenure, the firm has grown in numbers and has expanded its client base and service offerings. I look forward to building on this strong platform.”
