Reed Smith hires the head of Latham & Watkins’ CFTC practice

Peter Malyshev joins as a partner in its Washington, DC office

Global law firm Reed Smith has announced today that it has appointed Peter Malyshev as a partner in its global energy and natural resources (ENR) group.

Malyshev previously led the Commodities Future Trading Commission (CFTC) practice at Latham & Watkins.

Malyshev's practice focuses on regulatory, compliance and transactional issues related to commodities, securities and derivatives products.
