Capital markets lawyer Nikolas Colbridge has left Skadden Arps to join Dentons as a partner.

Colbridge, who had spent the past 15 years at Skadden's London office, is expected to strengthen Dentons' international corporate finance offering.

"Dentons' global positioning is an attractive proposition to those in international corporate finance," said Colbridge.

Colbridge focuses his practice on international financing transactions within capital markets. He acts for corporate issuers and financial institutions in equity and complex debt offerings. He also advises on restructurings and liability management exercises within the capital markets.

"We are particularly impressed by the work Nik has done on complex listings in Europe, emerging and developing markets, and across the world," said Jeremy Cohen, Dentons' UKMEA chief executive.

Colbridge's clients have included Citi, Credit Suisse, ING Bank, Renaissance Capital and UBS.
