The very concept of leadership is elusive and tricky. It is hard to define leadership in a way that
is satisfactory to everyone, although
most professionals believe that they
know it when they see it. What these
same professionals may not appreciate
is how difficult the job of leading a firm
can actually be.

There are some aspects of leadership that aren’t identified in any guidebook but are only whispered about by experienced leaders, who know that the art of leadership is always a work in progress.
